This painting is for my grandmother. The figures are all family members that attended her memorial service. The flowers in the foreground are transferred from fabric she made a housedress out of. The text in the piece is transfered from letters she wrote me over the years - it's all her handwriting. She wrote me once "I will be sitting on that pink cloud watching you."
